Intro

Dawn sings in the garden

this boys dead after two days life
resurrected by the call

(SAME CHORDS AS 1ST VERSE)
penny here we’ve got to come
so come on round to me
there so much penny lying here
to touch taste and tease

ring a ding ding ding
i’m going down i’m coming round

(SAME CHORDS AS 1ST VERSE)
penny’s place her crummy room
her dansetted crackles to jimi’s tune
i dont care i taste ambre solaire
her neck her thighs her lips her hair

ring a ding ding ding
i’m going down i’m coming round

all [A/G]thoughts of s[A/F#]leep des[A/E]ert me
there is no time
30 m[A/G]inutes bring [A/F#]me round[A/E] to
her number nine

(SAME CHORDS AS PREVIOUS VERSE)
yeah she looks like a painting
jackson polloch’s number 5
come into the forest and taste the trees
the sun starts shining and i’m hard to please

ring a ding ding ding
i’m going down i’m coming round

all thoughts…..

to look down on the clouds
you don’t need to fly
i’ve never flown in a plane
i’ll live until i die

A million miles from here where no one’s ever been.
God given grace and a holy heaven face,

G C D(Riff#1)
OKay, let’s fly, she say’s this carpet’s made for two,

This ugly little box no place for me and you.
Our carpet falls on a dew-fresh dappled plain,
C D Cadd9(Riff#2) G
Take a look around there’s something happening,
D Cadd9(Riff#3) G Cadd9 D
All the colours fade.

FEEL YOUR FINAL FLIGHT CAN’T BE DELAYED
NO LAND JUST SKY IT’S SO SERENE
YOUR PINK FAT LIPS LET GO A SCREAM
YOU FRY AND MELT I LOVE THE SCENE
SOMETIMES I FANTASIZE
WHEN THE STREETS ARE COLD

Tightrope by The Stone Roses Ukulele Chords

Written by John Squire
Performed by the Stone Roses

I feel almost privileged to be able to play this song’as it is an
absolute masterpiece!!! ?.the roses best?.(almost)!!
It looks a lot harder than it is so just play about with the harder
chord sequences until u get the hang of the changes.
It sounds ssssoooooo good played electric or electro-accoustic but
is still good on a battered ?30 argos special!!!!
The only thing u need to remember is to feel what John must have
been feeling both playing and writing this song. I?ve even put the
fill-ins in for u and u can play about with them to your hearts
content as this is such a versatile tune!!!!!!! And some of the
chords may be simplified if needed!
ANYWAY NUFF SAID”’?..NJOY!!!

Any changes or alterations or questions to
steve_ee@hotmail.com !!

Also if anyone has any Toploader music could they drop me an e-m@il please

My gold leafed triptych angel, she knows just what to do.

I swear I saw her angel wing, my vision was complete.

And I know I?ll never want another lover, my sweet.
Can there be more in this world,

Than the joy of just watching you sleep?

I don?t know just what to feel,

Won?t someone tell me my love is real?

Are we etched in stone or just scratched in the sand,
Waiting for the waves to come and re-claim the land.
Will the sun shine, all sweetness and light,

Burn us to a cinder, our third stone sat—e—lite.

I?m on a tightrope, baby, nine miles high,
Striding through the clouds on my ribbon in the sky.
I?m on a tightrope, baby, one thing I?ve found,
I don?t know how to stop, and it?s a
Long, long, long, long way down.

She?s all that ever mattered and all that ever will,
My cup it runneth over, I?ll never get my fill.
The boats in the harbour slip from their chains,
Head for new horizons, lets do the same.

I?m on a tightrope, baby, nine miles high,
Striding through the clouds on my ribbon in the sky.
I?m on a tightrope, baby, one thing I?ve found,
I don?t know how to stop,

And it?s a tightrope, baby, nine miles high,
Striding through the clouds on my ribbon in the sky.

Long, long, long, long way down.

What the World Is Waiting For by The Stone Roses Ukulele Chords

My second tab.
I’m not sure I got the whole song right, I find the chorus parts kind of tricky to
read, but feel free to use this as a start and make corrections.

Verse
Here comes the wise man
And there goes the fool
You see that burnt out world that he is living in
I don’t need to look for the rules
Here comes the donkey
Chained to a ten ton plough
He’ll never make that hill in a million years
Whip crack beating down

Bridge
He loves his brother but he’d sell him for a fistful of gold
He needs a slave for his vision of the promised land
No I don’t believe a word

Chorus
Take me any way the wind blows

You’ll never know just what you want to do

Or where you wanna go I think it’s time

That you found what the world is waiting for

I think it’s time to get real

Verse
Here comes the wise man
And there goes the fool
You see that burnt out world that he is living in
I don’t need to look for the rules

Bridge
He loves his brother but he’d sell him for a fistful of gold
He needs a slave for his vision of the promised land
No I don’t believe a word

Chorus
Take me any way the wind blows

You’ll never know just what you want to do

Or where you wanna go I think it’s time

That you found what the world is waiting for

I think it’s time to get real

Anytime you want it then it’s there

All you gotta do is stop it

On the corner and ask

Say hey you don’t live today

Stop the world

Stop the world

I’m getting off
I’m getting off
Can’t get enough
I’m getting off
