Comments: When I first heard that these guys were making a CD,
I was pretty shocked. I thought this CD wouldn’t sound the same
without Layne Staley, which is true, but this CD still has the
same Alice In Chains feel to it. This song really blew me away
and I have been listening to it ever since. From what I have
seen in a live video, this it what William DuVall plays in
the song.

If there’s any corrections that need to be made, let me know.

Intro:

I don’t wanna feel no more

It’s easier to keep falling
Imitations are pale
The emptiness of tomorrows
haunted by your ghost

Lay down black gives way to blue
Lay down I remember you

Fading out by design
Consciously avoiding changes
Curtains drawn now it’s done
Silencing all tomorrows,
forcing a good-bye

Lay down black gives way to blue
Lay down I’ll remember you
